I hope you all had a restful and relaxing weekend! It sure was nice having a surprise three-day weekend. I wanted to show you some pictures of the Polar Plunge that I participated in and that many of you came to watch and support. It sure was a cold swim! If you look closely, you can see some little kindergarteners to the left of where we jumped! It was fun hearing them chant, "Miss Miller! Miss Miller!"
Here is a picture of my sister, Erin, and me. She jumped with some high school teachers.
My grandma and older sister, Jenna, even came to support us!
I wanted to remind all of you that this next week is dress-up week for I Love to Read month.

– to go with the Dr. Seuss books Fox in Socks and Old Hat, New Hat
students and staff can wear fun socks and a hat for the day.
Friday – Pajama Day – to go with the reading celebration that will be taking
place during independent reading time.
On Friday, we’re going to honor Dr. Seuss’ birthday by celebrating
our love for reading!
Students can bring a
small pillow or blanket to use for
independent
reading in our classroom.
Your child is invited to bring
to school any Dr. Seuss
books he or she has at home.
Please be
sure the books are clearly labeled with your child’s name.
