"You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

Hi everyone! I apologize for not posting as often as I would like to. These weeks leading up to Christmas sure are busy. We have some fun activities coming up within the next two weeks, so please stay tuned for some great pictures.

I want you all to know that I had such a great time visiting with you and getting to know you a little better during your conference with your child. It was so much fun showing all the growth that you child has made these first couple of months of school. Thanks for all that you do!

Last week was Gingerbread week in our classroom. We read several versions of the Gingerbread story, and after a vote, our class decided that they loved Gingerbread Girl the most, and Gingerbread Baby was a close second. We did a gingerbread math glyph, we made a gingerbread man and wrote about what we can do, and we also illustrated a gingerbread book. That's a lot of gingerbread! Here are some pictures showing some of the fun we had as we learned this week.
